Good qualitative and quantitative gingiva is required on implant sites to ensure an ideal prognosis for implants. Various surgical techniques exist to optimise the gingiva.
General anaesthesia
Technical, pharmaceutical and medical advances, allow us to conduct procedures under general anaesthesia in an outpatient setting in complete safety and according to the standards and recommendations of the Swiss Society of Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation.
Sedation
This technique, also suitable for nervous patients, allows us to make the patient drowsy and unaware of any pain, it ensures immediate and comfortable awakening, the patient can go home after a brief observation period.
Sedation and general anaesthesia
For long or major surgical operations, we offer anaesthesia by sedation or even general anaesthesia at the clinic.
Conducted and monitored by our FMH-accredited anaesthetist specialist, these acts require preparation and additional monitoring.

Bone Regeneration
Technical works:
We collaborate with the Ciriza J Dental SA laboratory in Gland for all prosthetic work. The laboratory is composed of several technicians, each with their own specificity. This allows us to ensure technical work of the highest quality, combining aesthetics and precision.
Periodontology
The periodontium, tooth supporting tissue, consists of the gingiva and the alveolar bone encompassing the dental roots.
Gingivitis, slight inflammation of bacterial origin of the gums around the teeth or implants can be reversible. This requires regular hygiene care. Untreated gingivitis can degenerate into periodontitis, greater involvement characterised by irreversible bone loss. Without treatment the teeth can move and eventually fall out. Periodontitis is a multifactorial disease influenced amongst others by the accumulation of tartar, plaque and tobacco smoke.
Our hygienists have a vital role in preventing periodontal disease and regular monitoring is essential to maintain a healthy oral condition.
Example of guided bone regeneration of deep periodontal pocket:
Endodontics (root canal treatment)
Endodontics treats the inside of the tooth: the pulp and periradicular tissues (surrounding the root). Designed to treat and prevent infections in these areas, it preserves teeth that could be permanently lost.
In our clinic, Doctor Milanka Planinic conducts the vast majority of root canal treatments. She has extensive experience in this area from working for several years in the endodontic division of the University of Geneva, Dental Medicine Section.
Implant
The replacement of a tooth with an implant is now a reliable treatment option. However, it is necessary to have a suitable recipient bone site, to ensure strength and durability to the implant. According to recent statistics the success rate of implants in 10 years in the non-smoker is between 90 and 95%.
We have over fifteen years of experience.
