Endodontics (root canal treatment)

Endodon­tics treats the inside of the tooth: the pulp and peri­radic­u­lar tis­sues (sur­round­ing the root). Designed to treat and pre­vent infec­tions in the­se areas, it pre­serves teeth that could be per­ma­nent­ly lost.

In our clin­ic, Doc­tor Milanka Planinic con­ducts the vast major­i­ty of root canal treat­ments. She has exten­sive expe­ri­ence in this area from work­ing for sev­er­al years in the endodon­tic divi­sion of the Uni­ver­si­ty of Geneva, Den­tal Med­i­cine Sec­tion.
